A visitor information centre is located near the entrance to Mungo National Park.

This provides a range of information about
the park and its natural and cultural heritage.

By Foot ...

A 2.5km Foreshore walks starts from the Visitor information Centre.

There is also a 1km Grassland Nature trail which starts from the main camping area.

A wheelchair-accessible boardwalk gives all visitors access to view the walls of china.

By Car ...

A 70km signed post vehicle track takes you across the lake floor to the walls of China, over the dune to the Mallee Country and around the north shore the lake.

A highlight of this trip is a visit to the
Walls of China.

The Zanci Pastoral Loop is a 10km drive strating and ending at the Visitor Centre.

The focus of this tour is on the pastoral history of this semi-arid environment.

Ranger guided Discovery Tours are provided during the school holidays or join a day tour provided by a local guide.

By Private Air ...

There is an airstrip and aircraft parking area at the rear of Mungo Lodge.

All arrivals need to be confirmed with the lodge prior to landing.

NB: All Aboriginal artefacts are protected by law. Please do not pick up or remove any you may see.
